Burlesque wird oft mit Striptease verbunden. Frueher war das jedoch ganz anders und doch gleich. Der Unterschied liegt darin, dass nur schon das kunstvolle ausziehen von die Stripeinlage war. Gemeinsam mit unseren Burlesque-Spezialistinnen aus Australien (http://www.sugarblueburlesque.com) lassen die aufleben. Zurueck zum amerikanischen Vaudeville, eine Art Variete mit Gesang, Komik, Artistik und Tanz und zum Teil.

Students will be taught a burlesque routine involving the classic tools of tease - The feather Boa & gloves. They will dance and use these props to tease the audience.
Thursday, 01.04.2010 18:00-19:30 (Floor)
Learn a sexy and fun burlesque dance routine which involves floor work which is also a great fitness workout for your abdominals!
Friday, 02.04.2010 17:00-18:30 (Burlesque Vintage Hair and Makeup whole class)
Get ready for the Burlesque Ball in style! Learn how to do vintage hair and make-up pin up styles and transform yourself before heading out for an amazing night at the Ball!
Bring all your own hair and make up supplies - false eyelashes, hair spray, make up, hot rollers, curling irons, bobby pins, combs.

Ready for the cabaret stage? This lesson you will learn a full cabaret cane dance routine. This is lots of fun and will definately want you to try out dancing with more props!
Sunday, 04.04.2010 17:00-18:30 (Chair)
Chair dancing is a burlesque essential! You will love this class with some sassy dance moves around and on the chair. You will enjoy learning this burlesque chair routine.
What to wear?
Please come in comfortable clothing. In previous classes, girls like to wear leggings, t-shirts, shorts, or short skirts that are easy to dance in. Note that sometimes your legs will be in the air, so leggings are recommended!
Bring some heels that you can dance in if you like, otherwise flat shoes are fine.
What will I get out of this course?
Whether you want to become a burlesque performer or if you just want to do it for yourself, you will gain confidence and it will also improve your solo dancing vocabulary, as well as feeling great about yourself and the opportunity to perform in a show.

Burlesque is for everyone, all levels of experience, all sizes and all ages. We will cater to your strengths and you will learn something new and be challenged! No experience needed, come along and have fun!
